Wild rice and chickpea patties


2 cups chickpeas

2 cups wild rice

2/3 cup lentil flour

1 tablespoon of cumin, paprika and garlic powder


First place the chickpeas and wild rice into a food processor or blender and pulse blend. You want them to be slightly blended but not smooth. Next, add the mixture into a bowl along with the lentil flour and spices. Mix everything together thoroughly. Take a baking sheet with parchment paper and mold your patties.

Place into the oven and bake for 25 minutes at 400 degrees, flipping half way through.

That's it! Super easy and simple. You can use these in between lettuce or buns with all the fixins', you can dip them into some ketchup or mustard, or even break them up and eat them in a salad.
