Hummus is loved by many vegans and non vegans. The flavors in hummus are like no other. This hummus is very tasty, simple, and oil free. This recipe will make a good amount, so most likely you will have leftovers. The leftovers that can be saved in the refrigerator and will hold up for 3 days. You can use this hummus as a dip for veggies, potatoes, etc. and it can also be added to salads. Try not to eat this with chips or other highly processed foods in order to keep this as healthy as possible.
4 cups of chickpeas
The juice from 2 limes
3 tbsp of tahini
1 red bell pepper
1 tbsp of minced garlic
Pinch of salt/pepper/ground cumin/turmeric
Water to blend
In a High powered blender or food processor all ingredients and blend together until it is the consistency you desire. When adding the water add half a cup at a time until it reaches you desired consistency.
